I am in week three of my physical regimen. The first week I lost 2.4 pounds. Last week I don't know if I gained or lost weight. At first the WW woman told me I gained .4 pounds, but then she wrote in my booklet that I lost .6 pounds.
As for the FitBrides workout program, I'm doing pretty well. After the first session I could barely move, but now I'm getting into the groove of things. I still dread the trainer's arrival, but once we're working out it's not so bad. And doing exercise gives me more WW points, which I need. In week two I went over my points.
I realized that after my final dress fitting on October 7, I can't lose or gain any weight. I have to be on maintenance. So, my 12-week program has been cut a bit short. At least my dress makes me look super thin.
I bought the gown at RK Bridal on Monday. All I will say about it is that it's strapless, has draping and a bubble hem. I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone.
We are now reconsidering having dancing. My fiance and I really didn't want it but I was thinking that without it I will have fewer options to show off my dress. My fiance and I are really bad dancers, particularly him (nice!), and I can't stand those staged moments where the MC says: "Now, everyone, let's welcome the newlyweds;" "next up, the father of the bride and his lovely daughter;" and don't forget -- "here's the groom and his mother."
We are NOT having a singer/band leader. My mother is dealing with the band (really a trio or quartet). My only stipulation is that there is no flutist. It reminds me of whistling, which I cannot stand.
My parents and I got the invitations on Sunday. We were in and out in a couple of hours.
My current conundrum is deciding on the color of the bridesmaid dresses, which will make up the second color of the wedding scheme. As a result, there's a lot of pressure around the selection of the color. The invitation has slate and blue writing so I'd like to do slate color dresses, but it's hard to find them.
Next up, I am meeting with a potential photographer on Sunday. My main requirement is that he is a photojournalist and likes to capture the candid moments. I cannot have a photographer who takes cheesy staged photos like of the bride's hand resting on her lap or face.
